  • Fp Openers
  • LANDLORDS AGAINST RENT CONTROL

Here's the story of a disastrous encounter for Freedom Party... with a fraudulent advocacy group called Landlords Against Rent Control. We cut our losses and learned from the experience.

  • LONDON CIVIC ELECTION

Freedom Party Action Director Marc Emery runs in London Aldermanic Election!

  • Fp FEATURE: Close, But No Cigar This Time
  • THE MERV LAVIGNE COURT CHALLENGE

Merv Lavigne is fighting a legal battle to stop his union, the Ontario Public Service Employees Union, from donating a portion of his union dues to political parties and causes which he does not agree with. Lavigne argues that his own money is being used against him. We at Freedom Party agree wholeheartedly and we are helping to support his legal challenge.

  • Fp FEATURE: Freedom Party Supporters Help Win a Big Battle For More Freedom For Merv Lavigne and Millions of Canadian Workers
  • Newspaper Article: THE TORONTO STAR: "Teacher wins key case on use of union dues"
  • MEDICINE

Socialized medicine and more socialized medicine. By banning extra-billing, the Ontario government has guaranteed that the demand (and costs!) for healthcare will continue to escalate at an uncontrollable rate.

  • Fp FEATURE: Promises, Promises!
  • FREEDOM PARTY CAMPUS ASSOCIATION

Freedom Party's UWO Campus Association spreads the message of freedom of choice at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. One of the events was a public forum featuring the Fraser Institute's senior Economist, Dr. Walter Block, who spoke on the subject of "Affirmative action."

  • Fp FEATURE: Freedom Party Campus Association Gets Rolling in 1985-1986 Campus Year
  • Newspaper Article: THE LONDON FREE PRESS: "Wage gap blamed on women's own views"
  • LONDON UNION OF UNEMPLOYED WORKERS

Freedom Party President Robert Metz confronts London Union of Unemployed Workers leader John Clarke on London's Radio 98 Hot Line program. (London Union of Unemployed Workers... unemployed workers?? sounds like a contradiction.)

Freedom Party begins our anti-censorship campaign.

  • Fp FEATURE: Censorship ALERT!: A Four Letter Word Starting With "F" (The word is Free!)
