"The power shortages we face today are the direct result of electricity price controls imposed by the Progressive Conservatives in November of 2002, and continued by the Liberals ever since" says Freedom Party leader, Paul McKeever.  "The tories scared off private electricity generation investors in 2002, and McGuinty's continued price fixing has kept them away.  Nobody wants to invest millions or billions of dollars only to have price controls imposed to prevent them from getting a return on their investment.
