Fp's McKeever: Vote Provincially, Think Federally, Reject PCs
"A vote for the Provincial PCs on October 2, is a vote against a conservative alternative to the federal Liberals" says Freedom Party of Ontario leader, Paul McKeever. "Shocking the right across Ontario for days, Eves has been making it very clear that he considers the provincial PCs, not the provincial Liberals, to the be sibling and soul-mate of the federal Martin Liberals. Eves' message is loud and clear: he is saying that the future of both Ontario, and of Canada in general, is to be determined by an unholy alliance of red provincial Tories and federal Liberals. To anyone who is not in denial, Eves' message is a declaration of war against the common sense of blue Toryism, and against a right-of-centre alternative to the federal Liberals". McKeever is calling upon all blue Tories, and the right generally, to fight the Eves current within Canadian conservatism. "Mr. Eves will not be forming the next provincial government. However, any PC member returned to the Legislature will be taking his or her marching orders from a red Tory determined to form a destructive alliance with the federal Liberals. The goals for the right on October 2nd are clear: both to ensure a voice for the common sense right in Ontario's legislature, and to ensure that the effort for a strong alternative to the federal Liberals is not abandoned." McKeever is calling upon the entire right wing of the province to send as many common sense Freedom Party candidates to the Legislature as they can. "Blue tories, free marketeers, social conservatives: this is not the time to hold your nose and vote for a traitor. At this point in time, you are engaged not in a battle for the Ontario government, but in a battle to resist and defeat immoral, anti-democratic liberalism both within and without the conservative movement. Vote provincially, think federally, and - in the voting box on October 2nd, stand firm against PC support for the federal Liberals!" The Freedom Party is Ontario's remaining party of common sense. Its election platform, The Right Direction, can be found at: https://freedomparty.on.ca/platform.pdf (Adobe .pdf format) https://freedomparty.on.ca/platform/html/cover.htm (HTML format) Paul McKeever (who will be running in the riding of Oshawa, against Sid Ryan and Jerry Ouellette) is available to discuss this matter.
