Oshawa Riding All-Candidates Forum, September 17, 2003

WHAT: Freedom Party leader Paul McKeever will participate in an Oshawa riding all-candidates forum including the NDP's Sid Ryan and the Liberals' Chris Topple.

The forum is being sponsored by the Education Affiliates of Durham Region (CUPE, ETFO, OECTA, and OSSTF) who represent eight thousand workers in Durham's school systems. PC candidate, Jerry Ouellette, has declined the offer to participate in the forum.

A media panel including Mike Ruta of the This Week chain of newspapers, and Paul Pedro from Durham Radio News, will ask questions of the candidates. Shelley Page, a teacher at Ajax High School, will moderate the forum.
